Chestnut-crowned Antpitta, Bicolored Antpitta, Brown-banded Antpitta,  Slate-crowned Antpitta, White-rumped and White-tailed Hawks, Band-tailed Pigeon, Lyre-tailed Nightjar, Lesser and Sparkling Violetears, Long-tailed Sylph, Fawn-breasted Brilliant, Andean Emerald, Golden-headed Quetzal, Andean Motmot, Southern Emerald Toucanet, Buff-breasted Mountain Tanager, Masked Saltator, Yellow-vented, Bar-bellied, Crimson-mantled Woodpeckers, Rusty-faced and Bronze-winged Parrots, Scaly-naped Parrot, Golden-plumed Parakeet, Streak-headed Antbird, Tyrannine, Strong-billed, and Montane Woodcreepers, Streaked Tuftedcheek, Striped Treehunter, Dusky Piha, Grass-green Tanager, Blue-and-black Tanager, and the Powerful Woodpecker. The reserve is also known for its elusive tapaculos, Ocellated, Blackish, and Spillman’s tapaculos, Tourmaline Sunangel, Buff-tailed Coronet, Speckled Hummingbird, Wedge-billed Hummingbird, Bronzy and Collared Incas, White-bellied Woodstar,black-billed Peppershrike, Plushcap, Flammulated Treehunter, Black-billed Mountain Toucan, Citrine Warbler, Streaked Xenops,  Mountain Cacique.
